Handling Class
Sun Maid Handling Class Information
Sun Maid Kennel Club offers handling class every Tuesday (except for meeting nights) at Pet Supplies Plus located at 1235 Shaw Ave., Clovis, CA - 6:00 pm to 7:00 PM. Rakis Handling Class
This is not an Sun Maid Kennel Club Handling Class
Pam Rakis
Pam Rakis has been in dogs since 1975. She and the late Gail Hunter began this handling class in 1984 in Gail’s front yard in Fresno. As it grew – they moved to the park in Clovis, eventually expanding to an average of 12 dogs each week. Pam has shown dogs for more than 40 years and has trained numerous handlers and junior handlers. Pam’s own daughter rose to one of the top juniors in California in 1996-2000. Pam has shown Golden Retrievers in field, obedience and conformation and is now focusing on showing in conformation with her Silky Terriers. *Pam Rakis is a member of Sun Maid Kennel Club – but this class is separate and not connected to Sun Maid Kennel Club,
Pam will meet and train you wherever your level of expertise is. Practice, learning, conditioning

When is Class?
Every Wednesday night - 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm (Unless Raining - 1st Wednesday in February to 3rd Wednesday in November
Indoor or Outdoor & What to Bring
Class is outside
Bring dog, leash, training treats if desired, shoes you can run in, baggies to pick up after your dog.
(*table if you have a small dog, ramp if you have a ramp dog, training blocks if you desire)
Cost ?
Cost is $5.00 per dog
